The best thing about being part of Kilgannon & Partners is that work fits around my life, rather than the other way round. It has made me more focused, efficient and energised. I have been able to enjoy much more time with my young children than I could have demanded from a traditional law firm environment. And I have proven that I can be responsive and available to clients without spending long hours sitting at my desk – presenteeism just isn’t a thing here. 

As we say, there are no politics and no egos here – and that really is true. There are also no artificial billing targets for lawyers and our time is not eaten up by unnecessary internal meetings. This allows us all to focus on what we do best – doing complex, interesting work and providing our clients with great service.   

Since I joined in January 2024, the firm has grown significantly – which is, I think, a testament to a model that works and a culture of which we are all proud.
